These are the compositional pencil sketches. My first draw of myself was very bad, I do not have any foundation for drawing and this was my first time to draw so many self portrait. It was actually stressful while drawing these but I was trying my best to draw these. I also asked some help from my friend and they were giving me some tips on drawing. After some practicing, my last drawing was a lot better than the first one.

These are the second question for this assignment. The tool and techniques exploration; these included black ink, collage, and poster colour. Tools that I used for black ink were not a brush pen; they are twigs, cotton, stick, coffee stirrer, paper and so on. The first three drawings were used of black ink, twigs, coffee stirrer, and so on. The forth to tenth drawings were collage. Collage were actually using a lot of time to do it but I was satisfying to see the effect that came out. The last two drawings were using the primary colour to come out with different colour.

This was the third question of the assignment. This drawing was influenced by the pop art. I was interested to do the pop art since it can let me look at a self portrait with different colour. I was told that pop art did not use black colour for the drawing, so I thought that I had wrongly look at the colour from the research I did. This was actually my second try for the third question because I did not do well for my first one. I did not read the question properly and caused me to lose a lot of marks for that. After that, I was trying to find my free time and do research for the art movement I wanted to do. Finally, I decided to try this. I found a picture that represented me(with round spectacles), and I used tracing paper to make sure four faces would come out the same.
