Week 1

This is my video presentation for my first assignment.

This was the first week and also first day for photography class. Mr Martin had assigned us our first assignment. This time we were asked to find 10 pictures we liked the most. 5 pictures from the professional photographer and 5 were our personal pictures. After finding, we needed to make a video presentation about the pictures that we had chosen.

I found and chose those pictures based on my taste.

The first picture was from the young and creative picture, Joshua Malik. I loved this picture that seemed like containing a lot of meaning. The hand that edited into the picture was my favourite part. I liked how the hand and the water had created an amazing texture. I also liked the subtle tones of the sky.

The second picture was from the famous ballet photographer, Gene Schiavone. His skills of taking the posing and expression of a dancer always amazed me. He always found the correct timing to click the shutter. I chose this picture was because I loved the elegance of the dancer when she bent and pulled her skirt at the same time. The skirt that was swirling in the air had enhance the beauty of the picture.

The third picture was found from Instagram. I fell in love to the nature pose of the girl with the nature background. This picture was taken with a candid shot and to me this is a perfect shot at the perfect moment. I also loved the colour of the shirt the girl wearing that helped to brighten up the whole picture.

The forth picture was also from a instagrammer. I love simplicity and the two light colours combination. The light pink colour of the bridge and the light blue of the sea had created a pastel tone for this picture. I felt that the M rooftop would be the first thing to be noticed when you looked at the picture. It increase the uniqueness of this picture.

The last picture for the professional photographer part. This picture was taken by Akihito Nagata. As what I knew, he loved to capture lines. I chose this was because I love how the person in the picture was like walking towards the brighter part of the picture, looked like she was going for a brighter future.

Now its the turn to look at my personal pictures. I am not a professional photographer so I might not having the best pictures.

This picture was taken in Ho Chih Minh, Vietnam. I took this before crossing the road. I wasn't tend to take in the cars, motors and people. But after taking the picture, I loved it. I found that the picture gave a feeling of their lifestyle in Vietnam.

The cave was named as Gua Charan-Sivan Temple in Sungai Lembing. I loved the colour of stone and stick were the same and they looked like connecting with each other. They had created a interesting composition.

This was when I was on my way to the peak of the mountain. This mountain was named as Bukit Panorama at Sungai Lembing. I love the clouds , they looked like smoked and it created a dreamy feeling.

This was taken when I reached the peak of the mountain. I was stunned by the sea of clouds and i loved it so much.

The last picture , was taken when I was in the car. The beauty of sky on that day had caught my attention. I love the lights that come out from the clouds and strike through the blue sky. Maybe it looked like some superhero was coming out from there :D
