WEEK 1

The first week of semester , we had our lecture class for Contextual studies on Tuesday afternoon. At first, I wasn't really understand what wascontextual studies meant after that day. As what I knew, contextual studies meant that we learned from what our teacher taught and understood it based on our own experience. I could not make a 100% sure that it meant that, but I would understand in that way ...

We had meet Mr Charles as our CTX lecturer on that day, and Mr Choy as well but he wasn't present on that day. Mr Charles had explain to us what contextual studies meant, and what we would do after this. He had told us that , contextual studies were all based on self- directed learning, so we had to fully understand what we should do next for our own assignments.

Besides, we had also set a themes for every week to let us accomplish it. The theme for the following week was bringing the food that others never tried before. Everyone started to discuss about what food and what drink everyone had tried before.
