The objective of my video is to show how things come out unexpectedly when u give high expectations. My art movement is dadaism. Dadaism films that I have researched and watched are mostly in monochrome, have some speed up effect, meaning of the video shall defined by yourself. The reasons that I named this video as 'Unexpected' is because dadaism is always something that you are not expecting it. From the research I have done from assignment 1, the geisha robots from 'Ghost in The Shell', there is an unexpected outcome from its look. When the beautiful Japanese girl opens up her segmented face, underneath it is a evil look.
In this video, I will use a quite film style to film this video. Using this technique , the characters in the video shall have big and clear gesture, actions and emotions to show their feelings. Viewers have to understand the whole video by their own point of view.
The character in the movie can be a girl that always live alone because she is having a miserable life. People think that they having miserable life , they do not have friends , they do not like to have social, they hate everything that bother them. Every time she wants to have some expectation on something, that thing will never turns good. The arrangement of the video will be 50% and 50 %. What does this percentage mean?
In the starting of the video, the video will show the good side of the scenes ONLY. Until the the end of the fifth scene, I will make a black scene and reverse effect for the front 50 % of the video. After that, the other 50 % of the video will the be good scene + bad scene of the scenes. There are total 5 scenes will be shown.
For the first scenes : The girl is smart enough, she brings an umbrella before she going to school. After school, the is really a rain and she quickly opens her umbrella happily. Unfortunately, she has brought a broken umbrella. She is forced to walk back home in the rain with her broken umbrella.
Second scene : She plans to go for jogging because she has long time never exercise. She takes out her favourite sports shoe, and walk to the nearby park. On the way to the park, she finds out that something below her shoes is bothering her. When she looks down, her shoe sole has ripped off.
Third scene : As a university student, we life for assignments. She plans to do the assignment on the day before the due date because she is thinking that this assignment is easy enough to do at the last second. As you know she has an ill fortune, the moment she wants to start her assignment, her house WIFI has lost connection.
Forth scene : Today is also a nice day to walk to school. She walks to school with a good mood and got a big 'Surprise 'from the birds.
Fifth scene : She has lost hope to go out again from there house. She wants to sleep at home to calm herself down . Sadly, her house has a power cut...
These scenes are enough to tell people how miserable and out of expectation her life is.
